Back To School Fashion For Teen Girls #ohsofamous

For us, it's exactly 1 month until my girls go back to school. 1 month! Where did the summer go!? Normally I'll put off back-to-school shopping for as long as possible, but we actually got a jump start on bts shopping already this year. I found going a little early in the season nets us the best selections, and I was intrigued watching my girls dig through the clothing racks for what's on trend in the schools right now. Allison has gotten quite picky with fashion this year. I guess middle school is about the time that sets in, right?

For middle school girls, it's all about the skinny jeans. No flare, no crazy pocket designs. Just simple, basic skinny jeans. Graphic tee shirts are also trending right now. The sillier the picture or saying on the front, all the better! Fun designs on shoes are a hit as well. Allison picked out these Vans Atwood Low Sneaker to complete her bts outfits. The cosmic design has just the right touch of whimsy to head back-to-school in style this year.

Mariah is going to be a junior, and I noticed she is starting to get into more grown-up looking styles. She still loves a fun graphic tee every now and again, but what seems to be trending with high school girls are skinny jeans or jeggings, offset with over sized tee shirts or sweaters. The high school is pretty big, and when you have to rush to 6 different classes a day, comfy shoes are a must! Summer Park Strolls In Comfy Famous Footwear Shoes

Is there anything not to love about summer? It's definitely my favorite season of all! Vibrant, colorful flowers at every turn, the smell of fresh cut grass, and warm days with a lovely breeze make me one happy girl! After being cooped up in the house all winter, there is nothing I love more than strolling through the parks with my family once the warm weather hits. We are pretty lucky to have several really gorgeous parks close to my home, and on nice summer days, you'll probably find us taking full advantage of the walking paths and playgrounds in them.

Mariah and Jason are easy like Sunday morning, usually opting to dilly dally along with the dogs, or slowly walk along the water's edge. But Allison is a little fireball with so much energy to burn, and that makes her eager to hit up the playgrounds. Go! Go! Go! is her motto!

Whether it's hopscotch, tree climbing, or tackling the mountain of stairs, she always finds a way to release some of her pent up energy. I'm a mixture though. I like to scale the rocks and stairs, or see how high I can swing, but I also like to take every opportunity to stop and admire the flowers.

When enjoying the great outdoors, it's important for us to have shoes that will allow us to spend hours on our feet comfortably as well as stylishly!
