I'm hosting an early holiday dinner this Sunday for a few family members, and I wanted to add a few side dishes that we don't traditionally serve. Quick and easy sides that don't require a lot of prep work was the plan. Of course, I took to my favorite trusty Golden Blossom Honey recipe section to browse their veggie sides. Cauliflower has been sounding really good to me lately, and it's not something that we normally eat at Christmas dinner, so I decided I'd toss it into the mix with this Herb-Roasted Cauliflower recipe. I was a little worried as it called for rosemary, which Jason doesn't like, and thought about substituting it for thyme, but I left the recipe as is during my trial run and sat back to see how it would play out with the husband.
Jason dug right in without any complaints! It's more of a sweet side dish, flavored with a hint of herb, tender and delicious! I think all of my dinner guests will approve!
1 large head cauliflower, separated into 1-inch florets
4 Tablespoons olive oil
2 Tablespoons fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried
salt and pepper to taste
2 Tablespoons GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
