I love this! This is inspiring for me to go to the park and feed the ducks and geese because they always run away from me but to see that they actually will come up to someone is amazing! I have to try it now.
We had a couple of pet geese growing up. One of them looked just like Mother Goose. Our goose was named Jerry and that goose attacked us kids but loved my Dad. Needless to say I am kinda afraid of geese! Glad these were cool geese....must have been the free food. Great pics!
Oy. I am a little terrified of geese. Glad your girls aren't though. Looks like they were having a lot of fun. And that one bird sure does look like a Mother Goose. Just needs a bonnet on her now :-)
Oh man the geese! We have so many here and my little ones loves to go to the park to feed them bread. A piece for them, a piece for her, a piece for them.....
I do hope they didn't drive her quackers :-)
ReplyDeleteI tried adding my link but it came up with an error
Steve, you may want to try again. I was having issues with other blogs WW posts that were using Inlinkz, but it seems to be working now :)
DeleteI love feeding ducks!! Mother Goose is so cute :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Just look at these beautiful shots. I am a bird enthusiast Theresa so I am so thrilled to see them. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteA lot of my neighbors are bird enthusiasts too. You'd fit in great in our area!
DeleteI have not so fond memories of geese...LOL...yup you guessed it I got bit. :) Hopping with you from Ruby for Women WW blog hop.
ReplyDeleteAwww, sorry to drag up bad memories of geese for you! They can be pretty aggressive if you have food though. These geese weren't so bad :)
DeleteThey look pretty friendly, not like some of the ducks that will grab a burger right out of your hand. Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteI would love to see these geese in person once more.
ReplyDeleteDanielle @ Royalegacy
great shots! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Thanks for hosting and have a great week.

ReplyDeleteWe have these guys at our park, but we are not supposed to feed them. If those old ladies see anyone doing so, they would yell their heads off.
ReplyDeleteI always tell the kids that they better be good or I'll feed them to the ducks. I hope that's not what you're doing with your daughter.

Duck, duck, goose! They look like a healthy flock of golf-course destroyers.
