Why the ipod was invented

Moms, when throwing a birthday party for your child, it’s probably not a great idea to let your husband/boyfriend/whatever sit outside in his car and greet guests by blasting Akon’s Smack That. That song is more suited for a bachelor party, not a party that will be attended by a bunch of 8 year olds. While I realize that some dads just can’t handle the stress of a lot of sugared up kids running around singing Disney tunes, if you feel the need to drown all that out, do us all a favor and buy an ipod.

Also, if you feel the need to roll up beside me showing off your mad beats by blasting profanity laced or sexually explicit songs while my kids are in the car, you will see that I like to show mine off too by blasting Justin Bieber.

Just a little public service announcement for today :)

  1. LMAO! That's hilarious...and true, guys have no clue! I love Akon's music (hehe) but it's definitely not suited for 8 year olds most of the time...especially Smack That! Sounds like he was trying to make up for what he lacks elsewhere with BIG beats! haha. :P

    1. Oh, don't get me wrong. I have no problem with Akon or any other music genre. My husband thinks I have a crush on Eminem since I am always listening to him (with the ipod on of course lol). I just think that there is a time and place to listen to this kind of music, and it isn't at a childs birthday party lol.
