I was spending way too much time in the kitchen looking for the right tools for cooking. I used to just toss everything in a drawer and tell myself I'd find it easy the next time around. Then when it came time to use those items, I'd spend so much time looking for them again that I'd just be frustrated with no desire to finish my recipe.
I spent $8 on an organizer and getting to the right tools is stress free now. I just put the tools most used in the slots according to use and size. I even found extra space to put my foil and sandwich baggies, which means more room in other cabinets!
If your kids are anything like mine, they LOVE stuffed animals. My daughter has so many, we've run out of places to put them, so she just piles them up on the floor next to her bed. It looks aweful!
Walmart has these nice under bed storage containers with wheels for only $10 this week. We purchased 2 for her plush. Now all of her animals have a nice home under her bed. When she wants a new one, all she has to do it slide it out from under her bed, pop an animal out, then slide the rest back. Easy Peasy! We ended up buying 6 more for the other bedrooms in our house. I put out of season clothes and shoes in those and now my closet is a lot easier to navigate!
Speaking of closets, my kid's closets were full of bad planning and wasted spaces. It was hard to get things out and put things back. It was a huge eyesore too! Closet doors had to be closed at all times.
This purchase was a little more money, but well worth the investment. Lowes had their Allen & Roth closet organizers on sale for right about $300 each. I ended up purchasing 2 to get my girl's closets in order. I was able to get everything neatly put away, and even took more items that were cluttering my girls rooms and stashed them in there. There is still quite a bit of space up top for more storage as well!

You don't need to spend a lot of money to help keep your house organized. A few dollars is worth the investment to help keep your home clutter free, so you can spend less time searching and cleaning, and more time living!
